This adventure is a unique way to take in the beauty of the Big Island. Seeing some outstanding aquatic life really was the cherry on top to this adventure. Since we went at the right time of year, November through May, we were lucky to see some breaching whales. Walking onto the dock, we were taken on a motor boat for a short ride to the outstanding sailing catamaran. Throughout the cruise we were surrounded by blood orange skies and fantastic views of volcanoes all around. The tour guides were so accommodating and really were invested in the time on the ship. Coming around multiple times to ask if we needed anything was something so important to our experience. Being treated like royalty was quite nice along with homemade Hawaiian drinks with “pog”. Pog is a Hawaiian fruity mango tasting drink that is perfect for every occasion. This experience was the epitome of romance due to the fact that we were away from the mainland and with smaller, intimate groups. This cruise felt as if we were the only two people on the boat. With amazing photo opportunities we were able to celebrate happy memories from our vacation without distractions. The sun was setting on the best day and we were soaking up the last bits of our romantic vacation.

Being able to take in all of the island in its beauty was something so unique. With so many different places and activities on the Big Island, this was a great way for us to be doing something adventurous but also relaxing at the same time. Looking out on the horizon, there are breathtaking views of the sun dropping down along with silhouettes of whales. Being able to see exotic animals and learn about aquatic life interested us to no end. The scenic views of the ocean with a drink in hand was such a blissful experience. The romantic atmosphere was something that will be felt forever in our memories of our Big Island vacation.
